Viola Davis was born in Saint Matthews, SC on August 11, 1965. She is a critically revered actress of film, television, and theater and also a producer. Ms. Viola is the recipient of various accolades, including an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and Two Tony Awards. She is also the only Black person to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting.
